How Does Juvederm
Voluma Work?

Voluma dermal filler works by restoring volume in three areas of the cheeks, including the apple, apex and hollow. It provides a more youthful contour and eliminates sagging signs of aging on the face as it provides a subtle lift. Juvederm Voluma restores hyaluronic acid in the cheek area, which is a naturally occurring substance that diminishes with age. It is administered via injection to the face. Treatment time lasts less than half an hour and the Voluma substance is strategically injected into the treatment area depending on desired results and our doctor’s treatment plan. It lasts for up to two years and results are visible right away.

Recovery
And Aftercare

After treatment, patients may experience mild swelling and bruising where the injection was inserted. However, with ice and some rest the side effects subside quickly. Final results are visible within a few days. Patients can return to their daily activities right away.
