Kybella

Kybella is an FDA-approved injectable to reduce submental fat, or a double chin. Rather than surgery or liposuction, this fast and easy procedure involves a series of injections into the fatty area.

The fat cells are impacted by the Kybella formula, then shed by the body over the following weeks for a slimmer, more attractive facial profile.

When A Double Chin Appears,
Kybella Gets To Work.

As we age out bodies may begin to change in unflattering ways. Our skin loses its elasticity and fat can begin to accumulate in areas that we find embarrassing. One such area where excess fat can develop is beneath the chin, otherwise known as a double chin. For years, the traditional means for addressing this area was with a neck lift or liposuction, but recently, a new FDA-approved injectable called Kybella offers a non-surgical means for treating a double chin.

What Is
Kybella?

Kybella is an injectable treatment that uses deoxycholic acid to separate and absorb the fat deposits under the chin. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally-occurring acid in the body which metabolizes and dissolves fat from food sources. Because of this, most patients have no adverse reactions to Kybella treatments.

Each treatment session may require up to 20 injections, depending on the amount of fat, and should only take around 20 minutes to complete.
